CFH1

CFH1 Water-based stain binder for spraying

Water-reducible binder for spray-applied stains. It is added together with water to stain concentrates (CPH, CTH, and CLT/CTU when they are cut with water) to even out the colour, lock the dye onto the wood and reduce bleeding of the stain into the following primer. Solvent-borne counterpart: CFS1; dipping counterpart: CFH2.

  • Binder for CTH water stains applied by spray (CTH 100 : CFH1 400 : water 1000)
  • 0–200 % addition to CPH water-based pigment stains
  • 0–200 % addition to CLT and CTU stains when they are reduced with water (use CFS1 with solvent)
  • Open-pore veneer / solid wood finishing under PTS60 PU primer and PTL61 PU lacquer

Mixing matrix

  • waterThinner

Working spray mix for CTH stain.

Recalculated from the schedule recipe; reduce with water only. The schedule does not say whether parts are by weight or volume; with near-water densities the difference is minor.

  • CTH1 / CTH3 / CTH4 / CTH9Additive

    Open-pore oak/veneer, stain sprayed at 80–100 g/m².

The schedule uses 4× more binder than dye — above the 0–200 % stated on the stain cards; it is a recipe for the transparent CTH dyes. The schedule does not say whether parts are by weight or volume; with near-water densities the difference is minor.

Only when CLT/CTU are reduced with water. With S10/S12/S90 use CFS1 instead.

Cards list 'CFS1/CFH1'; picking by thinner type is an engineering inference.

Don'ts
  • Don't add to stains reduced with S10/S12/S90 solvents — use CFS1 there
  • Don't sand the stain coat before priming — you'll cut through the colour
  • Don't exceed ~100 g/m²: raised grain and blotching
  • Don't reduce with tap water — deionised only (dealer note for water-reduced stains)

Safety: Water-borne material. Wear gloves and a respirator when spraying, ventilate. (No SDS found.)

Not covered by the sources
  • No official t-color.ru page (link 404) and no t-colormarket.ru card (404; search returns only CFH2)
  • solids_pct, viscosity, density, pH for CFH1 — unknown (CFH2 solids 41 ± 1 % given only as reference)
  • Full dry / dry before solvent primer for CFH1-modified stains — only 20 min at 20–25 °C from schedule

  • No TDS/SDS PDF found (web search budget exhausted; woodonline.ru, lakokraska31.ru, ndom31.ru searches empty)
  • Conflict: stain cards allow 0–200 % CFH1 on dye, schedule uses 400 % (CTH 100 : CFH1 400) — unresolved
  • Schedule page title reads 'Открытопористая отделка кухонных фасадов из дуба (Акр.)' while slug is otdelka-stoleshnits-oblitsovannyh-shponom-buka-pu and the materials (PTS60, PTL61) are PU — title/slug/material mismatch on the official site; schedule also uses C26 hardener with PTS60 whereas the PTS60 card lists PC25/PC20
  • Schedule recipe parts (CTH 100 : CFH1 400 : water 1000) not stated as weight or volume
  • Dealer component table lists names in reverse order to codes; CFH1 = ВР inferred from CPH cards and CFH2 naming
