CPH24

CPH24 water-based pigment stain, cherry (concentrate)

Pigmented stain: evens out colour variation, hides wood defects, levels well and has good lightfastness. Concentrate: reduce with 400–600 % water (catalog: up to 1000 %), with CFH1 binder. All CPH stains intermix. Can also be used to tint exterior coatings (catalog).

  • Staining furniture in any wood species
  • Evening out colour variation, masking defects
  • Tinting exterior coatings

    % by weight: 400–1000 %catalog

The catalog allows up to 1000 % — for lighter, more see-through tones.

  • CFH1Additive
    % by weight: 0–200 %official% by volume: 0–200 %official

Water-borne stain binder: locks the pigment down, raises less grain, lays down more evenly.

  • CFH1Additive
    % by weight: 10–20 %dealer

Dealer (CPH series): working-mix formula says add CFH1 at 10–20 % of the ready stain for better levelling; the note on the same page says 15–20 %. CPH24/1 already contains 15–20 %.

    Different basis from the official 0–200 %: 15 % of a 1:5 ready stain ≈ 90 % of the concentrate.

% by weight: any ratio %dealer

All CPH stains intermix in any ratio (dealer).

Spray one even wet coat from 15–20 cm, fan fully open, 50 % overlap. No runs or puddles — pigment collects in pores and on end grain. Stir well before filling (the pigment settles) and strain through a 125–190 µm filter.
