More water = lighter tone. Use clean, ideally filtered/demineralised water.

  • WATERThinner
    % by weight: 400–1000 %catalog

The catalog gives 400–1000 % water for the CPH series; more water = lighter tone.

  • CFH1Additive

Binder: lays down more evenly, raises less grain, locks the pigment in.

Official: 0–200 % per 100 parts concentrate. The dealer says CFH1 (15–20 %) is already added to the stain — check with your batch.

Sanding between coats
Do not sand the stain itself — the pigment cuts through to bare wood instantly. Knock down raised grain only after the first sealer coat (P280–P320).recommended

Full fan, 50 % overlap, keep moving — stopping makes dark blotches. Stir before and during use; the pigment settles.
