Only if needed (thickened product, topping up a dip tank).
Stir thoroughly before use — the white pigment settles. Never thin with solvent thinners (S50/S80 etc.) — this is a waterborne product.
To get pastel shades from the white CPH60 base.
Codes are the CPH waterborne dye range (catalogue, official pages). Dial in the dosage on a test panel of the same species, starting small (1–3 %).

Lay on an even wet coat with no puddles or runs (puddles show as white blotches); flood end grain especially well. Use a WB-rated (stainless) gun and hoses. Shake the cup now and then to keep the pigment suspended.

Dipping
- Consumption
- 60–80 g/m²official
Dipping gives good penetration; it is the usual way to apply protective impregnation-stain in window production. Let the part drain fully, then dry. Keep the tank agitated — the pigment settles.
Brush

- Why ru
- Стандартная практика для водных материалов.
Synthetic-bristle brush, work along the grain and brush out any surplus so no white build-up is left.
Flow coating
- Consumption
- 60–80 g/m²dealer
Flow coating is listed by the dealer. Recirculate excess through filters and keep it agitated.
Process and compatibility
- Substrate preparation
- Dry, clean, dust-free timber with no old film coatings; wood moisture 12–15 %; final sanding P120–P150 (coarser rather than finer outdoors, to keep it absorbent).recommended
- Goes over
- bare wood
- Sanding
- The impregnation raises the grain — denib lightly with P180–P220 before lazure/lacquer, without cutting through the white.recommended
- Temperature and humidity
- Apply at +10…+30 °C, RH up to 80 %; not in direct sun, rain or on wet timber.recommended
- Don'ts
- Do not thin with solvent thinners.
- Do not apply over old lacquers/paints — it has to soak into bare wood.
- Do not let the product freeze.
- Do not skip stirring before and during use.

Safety: Antiseptic impregnation (fungus/mould protection): wear gloves and goggles, and a respirator when spraying; intended for exterior use. For interiors Technocolor offers the biocide-free CPH6xx lazures.
