CTH1

CTH1 Water-based dye concentrate, yellow

Concentrated yellow water-based dye. Transparent and bright, gives deep, saturated colours while keeping the grain readable. The CTH range is very bright, resists settling (so it works in dip tanks on production lines) and can be added to water-borne lacquers — e.g. for children's furniture and toys with higher environmental requirements.

  • Dyeing wood by spray (80–100 g/m²)
  • Dip dyeing (80–100 g/m² per official page; 60–80 g/m² per catalogue) — chairs, lattice furniture, cots
  • Tinting water-borne lacquers (kids' furniture, toys)
  • Tinting the first VTS20000 UV coat in parquet finishing (5–10 %)
  • Tinting the HTL10001 «Frost» special effect
  • Intermixing with other CTH colours to build a shade

  • CFH2 / WATERAdditive

Beech chairs (PU schedule), dye at 80–100 g/m², dry 30 min at 20–25 °C. The schedule does not name the method; CFH2 is the dipping binder.

CFH2 is a water-based dipping binder that improves colour uniformity when dipping (dealer t-colormarket.ru). Dealer page: CFH2 is let down with water at 800–1200 %.

  • CFH2 / WATERAdditive

    Dealer's rough dip-bath recipe

CTH at 1–10 % of the bath depending on depth of shade.

  • CFH1 / WATERAdditive

Beech-veneer tabletops (PU: PTS60 → PTL61), dye at 80–100 g/m², dry 20 min at 20–25 °C. Method not named in the schedule. (The site page wrongly repeats the heading "Open-pore oak kitchen fronts (Acr.)", but its URL and materials are the beech-tabletop PU schedule.)

CFH1 is probably a dye binder (by analogy with CFH2); there is no official description of CFH1.

  • VTS20000Additive
    % by weight: 5–10 %schedule

Tinting the first coat in the UV parquet system, 8–10 g/m², dry 5 min at 30–35 °C

Here CTH is a tint for the lacquer, not a stand-alone stain.

  • HTL10001Additive

    «Frost» effect: PPS20 → PU RAL enamel → HTL10001 + CTH → ATL20 SM

No ratio given in the effects catalogue — tint to a test panel.

Percentages are per 100 parts of component A.

Dipping

Consumption
80–100 g/m²official

Official page: dip 80–100 g/m²; catalogue: 60–80 g/m². Use the CFH2 binder (see mix). Methods page: dipping gives good dye penetration and suits lattice furniture; let excess drain after lifting out. Settling resistance (catalogue) keeps the bath usable. Dry 30 min at 20–25 °C (chair schedule).

Flow coating

Why ru
На странице методов облив указан как способ нанесения красителей; CTH — водный краситель, устойчивый к осаждению, подходит для систем с рециркуляцией.

Flow coating — the methods page says it is used mainly for dyes; not listed explicitly for CTH.

Process and compatibility

Substrate preparation
Per the schedules: tabletops — belt P150–P220 on flats, sponges K60–K80 on edges; chairs — K60–K80 mats. Water dye raises the grain: for fine work pre-wet, dry and denib at P220 first (not from the schedules — standard practice).source
Goes over
bare wood
Goes under
PTS50 / PTS60 / VTS20011
Sanding
Do not sand the dye coat itself — you will cut through the colour. Knock the grain down after the first primer coat: K120 (chairs) or P240–P320 + K120 on edges (tabletops).source
Temperature and humidity
Dry at 20–25 °C (schedules).schedule
Don'ts
  • Do not thin with solvents — water only
  • Do not confuse with CTH100 (antiseptic)
  • Do not prime until fully dry — wet water dye under PU/acrylic causes blushing and poor adhesion

Storage

Storage temperature
keep frost-free (above +5 °C)recommended

Safety: Water-based; the catalogue recommends the range for products with higher environmental requirements (kids' furniture, toys). Wear gloves — the dye stains skin hard (general practice).
