CTH4
CTH4 water-based dye stain, brown (concentrate)
Clear, bright water-reducible dye concentrate: gives rich, deep tones without hiding the wood grain. Resists settling, so it suits dip lines. Can be added to water-borne and UV lacquers as a toner (children's furniture, toys — strict eco requirements). Let down with 500–600 % water (catalog: up to 1000 %).
- Spray staining of furniture and fronts (oak, beech, etc.) (official page; schedules: open-pore oak kitchen fronts, beech chairs)
- Dip staining — chairs, small parts (official page, catalog; CFH2 dip binder)
- Tinting water-borne lacquers for children's furniture and toys
- Tinting the first UV coat on parquet, VTS20000 + 5–10 % CTH
- Tinting the HTL10001 'frost' special effect (special-effects catalog)

Standard let-down per the official page — full, rich tone.

- CFH1 / waterAdditive% by weight: CTH 100 : CFH1 400 : water 1000 %schedule
Spray staining — open-pore oak kitchen fronts under an acrylic system (PTS60 + C26 + S50 / PTL61 + C61 + S70 + CTS). CFH1 binder evens the colour and raises less grain.
80–100 g/m², dry 20 min at 20–25 °C.
- CFH2 / waterAdditive% by weight: CTH 100 : CFH2 800 : water 1200 %schedule
Staining beech chairs under a PU system (PTS50 + C50 + S80 / PTL50). CFH2 is the dip binder.
80–100 g/m², dry 30 min at 20–25 °C.
- CFH2 / waterAdditive% by weight: CFH2 40 % : water 60 % : CTH series 1–10 %dealer
Dip tank: CFH2 improves colour uniformity when dipping.
CFH2: solids 41 ± 1 %, reducible 800–1200 % with water.
- VTS20000Additive% by weight: 5–10 %schedule
Toning the first (penetrating) UV coat on parquet; 8–10 g/m², dry 5 min at 30–35 °C, then VTS20011 filler.
- HTL10001Additive% by weight: to shade (not specified) %catalog
'Frost' (crystallisation) special effect: PPS20 → PU RAL enamel → HTL10001 + CTH → ATL20 SM.
- water-borne lacquersAdditive% by weight: to shade (not specified) %catalog
Tinting water-borne lacquers (children's furniture, toys).
In practice keep it ≤ 5–10 % of the lacquer so the film isn't weakened (by analogy with the UV schedule); always do a test panel.
- % by weight: any ratio %recommended
Matching a shade by blending CTH colours.

- Don't let it freeze

Safety: Water-reducible, no organic solvents. Wear gloves (it stains skin); use a P2 particulate mask when spraying. No SDS found — follow general water-borne coating practice.
