Process and compatibility

Mixing
Stir the base well, add AC40 by weight on scales, mix, then add thinner. Let stand 5–10 min and strain through a 125–190 µm filter. For white/pigmented bases (APL1, APL20) measure by weight only — the volume figures differ (15–25 %).recommended
Ratio effect
Low end (10 %) — more flex and longer pot life; top end (20 %) — better chemical resistance for kitchens/bathrooms. Stay inside the range: under-dosing gives a soft, tacky film, over-dosing makes it brittle with poor intercoat adhesion.recommended
