Process and compatibility
- Substrate preparation
- Wood at 12–15 % MC for exterior work, clean, free of resin and oil; sand P150–P180, dust off. Pay extra attention to end grain and joints.recommended
- Goes under
- ATL60004 SM / ATL60004 G
- Sanding
- Once dry (≥4–6 h at 20 °C, ideally next day) P280–P320, without cutting through to bare wood.recommended
- Temperature and humidity
- Material and room 18–25 °C, RH 50–70 %; don't spray in direct sun, on wet or cold (<15 °C) wood.recommended
- Don'ts
- Don't topcoat with anything but ATL60004 — it's a closed system (catalog)
- Don't exceed the 4 h pot life at 20 °C
- Don't short the AC40 dose (40 %)
- Don't brush — Technocolor lists spray only
- Don't leave AC40 open — the hardener reacts with air moisture

- 1 л,5 л,25 лdealer
Safety: Flammable, solvent-borne; AC40 hardener contains isocyanates. Spray in a ventilated booth, wear an A2P2 organic-vapour respirator (or air-fed), nitrile gloves and eye protection.
