Dealer note: add the dye just before use.
Topcoat over stained/patinated oak (schedule says «CTS» with no colour number)
PU topcoat over CTH/CFH1 water stain and PTS60 primer
- procedure% by volume: 0.5–1 %recommended
Start at 0.5 % and spray a test panel on offcuts of the same veneer with the same number of coats. Colour builds with every coat — keep the dosage identical in each coat or sand-throughs will show as blotches. Don't go over 1 %: the tone goes muddy and darkens on edges and in the pores. Prefer an untinted primer and tint only the topcoat, otherwise sanding through the primer leaves pale spots.

- Why ru
- Полосы тонера и потемнение кромок — классический дефект; дистанция и перекрытие — из мастерских заметок по ATL50 G.
With a toned lacquer the whole game is an even wet film: 50–75 % overlap, steady 15–20 cm distance, no double passes on edges, or edges and overlaps go darker. S50 for verticals, S80 for big flat panels in the heat.

- Why ru
- Официальная страница о методах: airmix лучше подходит для финишных слоёв, чем airless; неравномерный слой с тонерами проявляется разнотоном.
Spray tinted topcoats airmix rather than airless — airless lays an uneven film and the tone stripes.
Process and compatibility
- Substrate preparation
- As for host topcoat: primed and sanded (P240–P320), dust-freeschedule
- Goes into
- ATL20, PTL61, other Technocolor PU/acrylic/NC lacquers
- Sanding
- Denib between tinted coats lightly (P400–P600 or grey pad) — never sand through a tinted coatrecommended
- Temperature and humidity
- per host lacquer, typically 18–25 °C, RH 50–70 %recommended
- Don'ts
- Don't go above 1 % — muddy tone, dark edges
- Don't add to water-borne lacquers — use the CTH series for those
- Don't change dosage between coats or batches — mix the whole job's tinted lacquer at once
- Don't use it as a standalone wood stain — that's what CTU/CLT/CPS are for
Storage
- Storage temperature
- +5…+25 °C, tightly closed, away from heat and sunlightrecommended
- Packaging

Safety: Flammable (organic solvents). Spray in a booth with extraction, wear an organic-vapour respirator (A2) and nitrile gloves. (Recommendation, not from a Technocolor SDS.)
