ATL90 UM
ATL90 UM fast-drying acrylic (2K acrylic-PU) lacquer / self-sealing lacquer, 10 gloss
Two-pack clear acrylic (acrylic-PU) lacquer at 10 gloss (ultra-matt). Very fast drying, non-yellowing over time, sands well, shows off the wood grain/pores, low grain raising. Works as a self-sealing lacquer: can go straight onto bare wood and also serve as the topcoat.
- finishing any wood species
- furniture (doors, carcasses) where a natural matt look is wanted
- open-pore and semi-open-pore finishes
- clear topcoat over stains/patinas in the acrylic system

Mixing matrix
- % by weight: 10–20 %official% by volume: 10–20 %official
Official range 10–20 % (by weight and by volume). AC40 and AC41 are both 'hardener for acrylic coatings'; the dealer describes both as the 2nd component for primers and matt acrylics, 38 ± 1 % solids. AC40 is additionally stated non-yellowing and flexible, and is cheaper/more pack sizes — hence the default.
Default 20 % (dealer figure). Going below 20 % gives a softer, less chemical-resistant film; only use the low end deliberately.

Universal, medium evaporation — default choice, vertical surfaces, 18–25 °C.

- S70Thinner% by weight: 20–30 %official% by volume: 25–35 %official
Slow — warm shop, large panels, better flow-out.
- S80Thinner% by weight: 20–30 %official% by volume: 25–35 %official
Slow — above ~25 °C, large panels, flat work. More dust pick-up and sag risk.

Electrostatic possible with any spray method (chairs, legs). Check mix resistivity with S-series thinners.

- Temperature and humidity
- 18–25 °C, RH 50–70 %; data given at 20 °Crecommended
- Don'ts
- don't sand or polish the final ultra-matt coat — it burnishes
- don't use past the 6 h pot life
- don't lay it on thick for build — it clouds and the matting goes patchy
- don't leave mixed product or hardener open to air (isocyanate reacts with moisture)
Storage
Safety: Solvent-borne 2K with isocyanate hardener: flammable; spray in a ventilated booth, wear a carbon respirator (A2P2 or better) and nitrile gloves.
