  • AC40Hardener
    % by weight: 40 %catalog% by volume: 52 %recommended

Fixed ratio - do not go short or over. The 2019 catalog writes the hardener as 'C40' (same AC40).

  • S50Thinner
    % by weight: 20–30 (typ. 25) %catalog% by volume: 26–39 (typ. 33) %recommended

normal conditions 18-25 °C, vertical surfaces

Default 25 % is the middle of the catalog range. Add thinner after the hardener.

  • S80Thinner
    % by weight: 20–30 (typ. 25) %recommended% by volume: 26–39 (typ. 33) %recommended

above ~25 °C or on large flat panels - longer open time, better flow-out

More sag risk on verticals and more dust pick-up. Does not change cure time.

  • CS pigment pastes (CS 10 ... CS 91)Additive

Pastes go into the converter (part A) per the SPECTRUM formula before adding hardener. Paste dosage not stated in sources.

Percentages are per 100 parts of component A.

Timber at 12-15 % MC for exterior joinery, sand P150-P180, de-dust. Degrease resinous species.recommended
Sanding
P320-P400 between coats after 3-4 h; never sand the final coat.recommended
Don'ts
  • do not tint after adding hardener
  • do not change the AC40 ratio (40 %)
  • do not use nitro or water-based thinners
  • do not brush (method not listed by the manufacturer)
