APL20 SM

White acrylic enamel (30 gloss)

Two-pack white acrylic enamel (cured with AC40). Tough, flows out well in thin coats, flexible, good chemical and physical resistance, high hiding power, non-yellowing, and shows the grain/pores nicely. Used as a top coat on its own or as the base colour in patina finishes.

Mixing matrix

  • AC40Hardener
    % by weight: 10–20 (typ. 15) %official% by volume: 15–25 %official

    always — 2K system

    Catalog gives 10–20 % (no by-volume figure); dealer t-colormarket and the official page give 10–20 % w/w / 15–25 % v/v. Tip: run towards 20 % for kitchen/bath resistance, towards 10 % for more flex (not a manufacturer statement).

  • S50 / S80Thinner
    % by weight: 30–40 %official% by volume: 40–50 %official

    S50 universal/normal; S80 slow, for >25 °C or large flat panels

S50 is the default and suits verticals; S80 is slow: above ~25 °C, large panels, better flow on flats, but more dust pick-up and sag risk. Neither changes cure time.

  • S50 / S80Thinner

open-pored timber (oak, ash) — better colour and pore definition; apply 200–250 g/m²

per t-colormarket dealer note (not on the official page)

  • AC40Hardener

schedule 'Oak kitchen fronts, decapé effect (acrylic)', step 7

Schedule writes 'C40' — this is AC40 (the dealer sells AC40 at …/otverditeli_1/c40/; the product page lists only AC40). Schedule does not say weight or volume (probably weight).

  • S50Thinner

    same decapé schedule, step 7

30 % = bottom of the official 30–40 % range; schedule does not state weight or volume.

Percentages are per 100 parts of component A.

Not ideal for a finish coat — rougher atomisation; prefer airmix.

Страница методов: все системы распыления работают в электростатике; подтверждения для конкретного продукта нет.

Can be combined with any spray method (methods page) — chairs, legs; check the mix conductivity first.

Don'ts
  • don't eyeball AC40 — weigh it
  • don't use mix past 6 h pot life
  • don't brush — spray only per manufacturer
  • not for exterior — interior enamel
  • don't sand/polish the final 20/30-gloss coat — it goes patchy

Storage

Packaging
1 кг,5 кг,25 кгdealer

Safety: Flammable solvent-borne coating; AC40 hardener is an aliphatic polyisocyanate (catalog p.19; dealer). Spray in a booth with extraction, wear an A2P3 respirator (or air-fed), nitrile gloves and eye protection. No naked flames. Isocyanate hardener is moisture-sensitive — keep the tin tightly closed.
