CPS57
CPS57 solvent-borne pigment stain, Wenge
Ready-mixed solvent-borne pigment stain in wenge. Evens out colour variation, hides defects, levels well and is lightfast. A deep dark-brown, almost black-chocolate tone imitating wenge — usually on oak, ash, birch or beech. Spray, spray-and-wipe or roller-coat. It builds no film, so it always goes under a sealer and topcoat.
- Staining furniture in any wood species
- Wenge look on oak/ash with pores picked out (spray-and-wipe with CFS1 binder)
- Flat veneered panels on a roller-coater line (10-20 g/m²)
- Exterior woodwork — only under a weather-resistant topcoat (official pages of sibling CPS58/CPS62)

S10 fast, for fine-pore wood (beech, birch, maple, alder); S12 medium, for medium-pore wood; S90 slow, for open-grain wood (oak, ash) and large panels, gives more time to wipe.
The catalog's 500-1000 % for the CPS series refers to the concentrates — don't apply it to ready colour CPS57 or the wenge will wash out.

- Consumption
- 80–100 g/m²dealer
- Flash-off

- Recoat
- seal after 30-60 minrecommended
Stir until uniform — the pigment settles; keep shaking the cup. One even wet coat, no puddles; go light on end grain (it soaks more and goes darker). Dark wenge shows every stripe: cross-coat with 50-75 % overlap.

Spray, wait 1-3 min, wipe along the grain with a sponge or lint-free rag, packing pigment into the pores. Add CFS1 for pore highlighting on oak/ash.

Flat parts on a roller-coater line only.
