LTC5

LTC5 anti-blush agent for nitrocellulose coatings

Anti-blush agent from Milesi's LTC range of corrective additives. Used in nitrocellulose coatings, where it lets water vapour escape and so eliminates humidity blush. Intended mainly for days with high relative humidity. Must never be added to polyurethane coatings. The CLT Kromolux dye TDS lists it among the thinners (LZC1000 / LZC1024 / LZC97 / LTC5 / water). No product page on t-color.ru or t-colormarket.ru.

  • High humidity: curing humidity blush in NC lacquers
  • Thinner/additive for CLT Kromolux dyes (per Milesi TDS)

Mixing matrix

  • NC lacquersAdditive
    % by weight: 3–6 %datasheet

NC lacquers on humid days, when blush appears.

Added on top of the normal thinner. Never into PU coatings.

  • CLT Kromolux seriesThinner
    % by weight: 500–800 %datasheet

CLT dyes: the TDS lists LTC5 among thinners, with no separate share.

TDS suggested dilution is 1 part CLT : 0.5 LZC97 : 9.5 LZC1000; LTC5 makes sense only as a partial addition on humid days.
