CQS10049
CQS10049 White patina
White patina under a separate code (dealer only, no official page). Properties, use and thinners (S10/S2000 100–200 %) match CQS10; the dealer additionally lists 17 s ВЗ-4 viscosity and 12-month shelf life. Also sold in 25 kg; dealer price 851 vs 3650 RUB/kg for CQS10 — possibly an industrial or tinted-to-order version, the maker doesn't say.
- Decapé / limed effect on open-pore oak and ash (white in the pores)
- Ageing (distressed) effect on interior furniture and woodwork
- Glazing raised-panel and routed fronts over enamel
- Patina on PU-foam (PPU) mouldings, frames and decor
- Special effects: 'blur', stone, metallic enamel with patina

Mixing matrix
- S10Thinner% by weight: 100–200 %dealer% by volume: 100–200 %dealer
Default: fastest drying and a harder film; patina wipes back harder — for crisp, high-contrast results.
Thinned with S10 the patina is harder to rub off (t-colormarket).
- S2000Thinner% by weight: 100–200 %dealer% by volume: 100–200 %dealer
Dedicated patina thinner: dries slightly slower but the patina is easier to sand/rub back — more working time, larger parts.
- % by weight: 100–300 %catalog
The catalogue allows up to 300 % for a very light, translucent glaze.
Dealer text: 'thin 1–2 times with solvent'.
- S10Thinner% by weight: 100 %schedule
Official schedules: open-pore oak kitchen fronts, decapé oak fronts, PU-foam mouldings.
1:1 in all three schedules.
- ethanolThinner
Ethyl alcohol — when you want the patina to wipe back more easily (soft, blended effect).
No percentage given; work within the same 100–200 %.

Application
HVLP
- Pressure · fluid
- gravity cuprecommended
- Consumption
- 80–100 g/m²dealer
- Coats
- 1dealer
- Flash-off
- 5–10 mindealer
Gun 15–20 cm off the part, overlapping passes, work the colour into pores, panel profiles and recesses; one coat. Wipe back after 5–10 min.
Conventional spray
- Consumption
- 80–100 g/m²dealer
Lower transfer efficiency (up to 40 %), more overspray — use a booth.
Airmix (air-assisted airless)
- Consumption
- 80–100 g/m²dealer
Production only; easy to over-apply at such low film weights — HVLP is usually better.
Cloth or pad
- Consumption
- 80–100 g/m²catalog
Catalogue lists 'spray + rub': spray on, then rub in / wipe back. Rag or brush application only for small touch-ups.
Process and compatibility
- Substrate preparation
- Only over a cured, sanded primer or enamel (PU or acrylic). Sand primer P240–P320, profiles with K60–K120 pads (per the schedules). On open-pore oak keep the pores open — that is where the white sits.schedule
- Goes over
- ATS20 / APS20 / APL20 / APL20 SM / PPL20 / PPS20 / PPS20040 / PPS50 / APS20106 / PPS400XX / ATL20 SM
- Removal
- After 5–10 min at 20–25 °C rub off the excess: Scotch-Brite 07448 / S UFN (oak, enamel), steel wool #2 (PU foam), or K600 abrasive (dealer instruction). The longer it dries, the harder it is to remove.
- Sanding
- Don't wipe back with anything coarser than P400/K600 — you'll cut through the enamel/primer beneath.recommended
- Topcoat timing
- Topcoat as soon as the excess is removed and dust blown off — same day (patina full dry ~10 min). Lay the first lacquer coat light so it doesn't lift or smear the patina.recommended
- Temperature and humidity
- 20–25 °Cschedule
- Don'ts
- Don't apply to bare unprimed wood — it soaks in and won't wipe back
- Don't leave patina without a clear topcoat — it's unprotected and rubs off
- Don't let it dry too long before wiping back — fully dried it removes poorly
- Not for exterior use (interior material)
- Special effects
- «Размытие» (blur): APS20106 → RAL enamel → CQS 21–26 patina → mist S10 from a gun at low pressure → ATL20 UM clear lacquer, Stone (jasper/granite): CQS/CTU dropped from a gun at minimum pressure + S10 drops, then ATL200, Metallic enamel: PPS50 → APL800XX → ATL20 SM → CQS → ATL20 SM
