CPS010
CPS010 Solvent-borne pigment stain, Walnut
Ready-mixed solvent-borne pigment stain, walnut shade. High hiding power: evens out colour variation and masks defects, giving a calm natural walnut tone; good levelling and lightfastness. Supplied near ready to spray — let down 0-100 % with S10/S12/S90. Can be intermixed with other CPS colours and solvent-borne stains to hit a custom shade.
- Staining furniture in any wood species (solid and veneer)
- Evening out colour variation, walnut look on pale woods
- Under PU / acrylic / UV finishing systems

S10 — fast, for fine-pore wood (beech, birch, maple, alder); S12 — medium, for medium-pore wood; S90 — slow, for open-grain wood (oak, ash) and big panels — longer open time, fewer blotches.
Ready colour: 0 % gives the full shade, up to 100 % gives a lighter, more even tone. Dose the thinner by colour on a test board, not by cup viscosity. Record ratios by weight.

- % by weight: 0–400 %catalog
Solvent binder for wipe-on / pore-highlight work on open-grain wood and better pigment lock-in (CFS1 is the spray grade).
The dealer lists no binder for CPS010 — series-level data, check on a test board.
- CFC3Additive% by weight: 200 %schedule
Roller-coating flat veneered panels under a UV system, 60-80 g/m².
Schedule names the CPS series, not a colour. CFC3 has no official or dealer page — it is known only from this schedule (by the recipe, a binder for roller application).

UV schedule, roller coater.

Custom walnut shade: mixes with other CPS colours and solvent-borne stains.
The catalog says 'mixes with other solvent-borne stains'; the codes CPS/CTU are our reading of that (both series are solvent-borne). No ratio is specified — record ratios by weight.

Stir well before use and keep agitating the cup — the pigment settles. One even wet coat, no puddles; go lighter on end grain (it drinks more and goes darker). Always do a test board on the same species and sanding grit first.
Conventional spray

More overspray than HVLP; use a booth.

Spray, wait 1-3 min, then wipe along the grain with a sponge or lint-free rag, removing excess and packing pigment into the pores. Pore highlighting on oak/ash needs the binder (CFS). Dealer lists only spraying for CPS010 — wiping is series data.

Flat parts on a roller-coater line only.
