CPH65
CPH65 Mahogany wood impregnation (waterborne, antiseptic preservative, exterior)
Waterborne mahogany-coloured exterior wood impregnation. Protects timber from temperature swings, moisture and insects and gives it a decorative finish. Even colour, strong protection against fungi, mould and wood-boring pests, high lightfastness.

Only if needed (thickened product, topping up a dip tank).
Never thin with solvent thinners (S50/S80 etc.) — it's waterborne. For a lighter shade, cut it with the clear CPH6 rather than with water.

- Why ru
- Обычная практика для тонированных водных морилок.
Even wet coat, no puddles or runs, 50 % overlap — a coloured impregnation shows stripes otherwise. Flood end grain well. Use a WB-rated (stainless) gun and hoses.

Dipping
- Consumption
- 60–80 g/m²official
- Why ru
- Проникновение и применение в оконном производстве — с официальной страницы способов; перемешивание в ванне и стекание — стандартная практика окунания, Technocolor этого не указывает.
Dipping gives good penetration and is the usual way to apply protective impregnation in window production (methods page). Keep the tank stirred (pigment settles), let the part drain fully, then dry.
Brush
- Consumption
- 60–80 g/m²official
- Why ru
- Стандартная практика для тонированных водных продуктов.
Synthetic brush, along the grain, brush out surplus and keep a wet edge so laps don't show in the colour.
Flow coating
- Consumption
- 60–80 g/m²dealer
Flow coating is listed on the dealer page for CPH65 (not on the official page).
Process and compatibility
- Substrate preparation
- Dry, clean, dust-free timber with no old film finishes; moisture 12–15 %; final sanding P120–P150 (coarser rather than finer on exterior work — better absorption and more even colour).recommended

- Sanding
- The impregnation raises the grain — denib lightly with P180–P220 before lazure/lacquer, without cutting through to bare wood (shows as light patches on a coloured impregnation).recommended
- Temperature and humidity
- Apply at +10…+30 °C, RH up to 80 %; not in direct sun, rain or on wet timber.recommended
- Don'ts
- Do not thin with solvent thinners.
- Do not apply over old lacquers/paints — it has to soak into bare wood.
- Do not let it freeze.
- Do not use as an interior finish — it contains biocides.
Storage

Safety: Contains biocides (antiseptic): wear gloves and goggles, and a respirator when spraying; not for interiors or food-contact surfaces (for interiors Technocolor offers the biocide-free CPH6xx lazures).
