CPH626
CPH626 lasur (water-based wood glaze), wenge
Pigmented water-based lasur with wax. Colours evenly without blotching, levels well and is lightfast. Used as the finish coat — no lacquer goes over it. Protects wood from UV and does not fade. Contains no biocides, so it can also be used indoors; outdoors the wood should first be treated with a protective impregnation (CTH100 per the dealer, CPH6 per the catalog).
- Exterior timber: gazebos, fences and similar
- Garden furniture and wooden items indoors and outdoors (dealer, CPH600 page of the same series)
- Timber houses, window frames (catalog, exterior section)

Application
Brush
- Recoat
- 2–4 h at 20 °Crecommended
- Sanding between coats
- normally none; if fibres lift, light denib with P240–P320 / grey pad after the first coatrecommended
Brush along the grain with a wide brush, keep a wet edge and don't lap onto dried areas; stir before use — pigment settles. It is the finish coat; do not lacquer over it.
HVLP
- Spray viscosity
- as supplied (≈ 15–25 s DIN4)recommended
- Why ru
- Производитель указывает для лазурей только кисть; рекомендации по распылению даны, поскольку страница методов и родственные пропитки CPH допускают пневматическое распыление.
Officially brush only (the CPH impregnations also list spray and dip). Spraying is fine on panels/mouldings, but back-brush straight away so it works into the grain evenly without striping. 15–20 cm distance, 50 % overlap.
Conventional spray
- Why ru
- Не опубликовано; стандартная практика для тонких водных глазурей.
As for HVLP but more overspray — use a booth and back-brush.
Airmix (air-assisted airless)
- Nozzle
- tip 07–09 thou (0.18–0.23 mm), 20–40° fanrecommended
- Why ru
- Не публикуется; выведено из страницы о методах нанесения и стандартной практики.
Production only (mouldings, panels); watch you don't exceed 80 g/m².
Dipping
- Why ru
- Способ нанесения для лазурей не указан; в каталоге (с. 14) для родственных пропиток CPH указаны окунание и валик, а на странице способов нанесения сказано, что окунание часто применяется для защитных пропиток-морилок в оконном производстве.
Dipping is officially listed for the CPH impregnations (60–80 g/m²) and the methods page recommends it for stain-impregnations in window production. For the lasur it can work on mouldings; brush out runs after draining.
Process and compatibility
- Substrate preparation
- Clean, dry wood (≤ 15 % moisture for exterior), free of old film finishes, dust and resin; sand P120–P180. Outdoors, pre-treat with protective impregnation: CTH100 (dealer) or CPH6 (catalog).recommended
- Goes over
- CTH100 / CPH6
- Topcoat
- none — used as the finish without subsequent lacquerofficial
- Sanding
- before: P120–P180; between coats only a light denib if grain is raisedrecommended
- Temperature and humidity
- apply at +10…+30 °C, RH ≤ 80 %, not in direct sun or rain; protect from rain for 24 hrecommended
- Don'ts
- Don't lacquer over it — it is the finish coat (official)
- Don't apply over old film-forming lacquers/paints
- Don't apply below +10 °C, in rain or in direct sun
- Don't let the material freeze
- Maintenance
- Refresh when weathered: clean, scuff lightly, apply one coat.recommended
