CPH624 Waterborne wood glaze (wax stain), cherry, exterior
Ready-to-use waterborne pigmented glaze in cherry, with added wax. It colours evenly without blotching, levels well, is lightfast and protects the wood from UV without fading. Because it contains wax it is a finish in its own right, with no lacquer on top. It has no biocides, so it can be used indoors; outdoors, treat the wood with a protective impregnation first.

Stir well, as the wax and pigment settle. Brush along the grain in thin, even coats with no puddles or runs, and brush out right away, because laps go darker with a red tone like cherry. Do the end grain separately. This is the only officially listed method.
