CPH621
CPH621 Glaze (lasur), classic walnut — water-based, for exterior work
Water-based pigmented wax glaze for exterior timber, classic walnut shade. Protects wood against UV, does not fade, colours evenly without blotching and evens out colour variation. Used as the final finish — no lacquer goes on top. Contains no biocides, so it can also be used indoors; outdoors the wood should be pre-treated with a protective impregnation first.
- Gazebos, fences, railings and other outdoor timber structures
- Timber houses, window frames (exterior-materials range)
- Interior timber — allowed, since it contains no biocides

Application
Brush
- Sanding between coats
- normally none; if the grain has raised after coat 1, a light scuff with P240–P280 / grey pad and dust offrecommended
Brush is the only officially listed method. Work along the grain, even and lean, no puddles; feather out surplus at corners and end grain so it doesn't go dark. Keep a wet edge and finish a whole board at a time. Stir before and during use — the pigment settles.
HVLP
- Spray viscosity
- as supplied (do not thin)recommended
Unofficial option: spray then back-brush immediately while wet. Use stainless-steel fluid passages for water-borne material. Don't spray outdoors in wind.
Process and compatibility
- Substrate preparation
- Clean, dry, grease-free timber, no old film finish left; moisture ≤ 15–18 % (derived). Sand P120–P180 (derived) and de-dust. Outdoors, apply a protective impregnation first (CPH6 per catalog; dealer names CTH100) and let it dry.
- Maintenance
- re-coat with CPH621 (or clear CPH600) when the surface stops beading waterrecommended
- Don'ts
- Don't topcoat with lacquer — it is the final finish
- Don't dilute it like the CPH1–CPH26 stain concentrates (400–1000 % water) — it is a ready-to-use glaze
- Don't flood it on or leave runs in corners — it goes dark and blotchy
- Don't apply in rain, on wet timber or in direct sun
- Don't let it freeze
