PTL200

PTL200 PU gloss lacquer (100 gloss)

Two-pack clear polyurethane lacquer, 100 gloss. High solids, deep gloss, good hardness and scratch resistance. Builds and flows out well and polishes very well. Cured with AC200 (officially 100 %) or PC210 (dealer), thinned with the slow S70/S80 thinners.

  • high-gloss furniture fronts
  • high-gloss panels in solid wood and veneer
  • high-gloss MDF
  • topcoat for cut-and-polish (mirror) finishes

Don'ts
  • don't spray over an unsanded or dusty primer — a 100-gloss film shows every speck
  • don't polish earlier than 3 days after the final coat
  • don't exceed the recommended film (≈150 g/m² per coat)
  • don't use the mix past its 6 h pot life
  • don't thin with fast thinners — the slow S70/S80 is what lets it flow out
