Process and compatibility
- Substrate preparation
- Sanded, dust-free wood/MDF over a PU primer; enamel tints over a white PU primer (e.g. PPS50277), tinted clears over a clear PU sealer.recommended
- Sanding
- PU primer P320–P400 before the PTL1 coat; denib only between PTL1 coatsrecommended
- Temperature and humidity
- 18–25 °C, RH 50–70 %; above 25 °C use S70/S80recommended
- Don'ts
- Don't use CH (waterborne) pastes — CS only
- No aromatic PC20/PC25 for white or pale tints — PC60 only
- Don't run past pot life or top up old mix with fresh
- Don't sand or polish the final matt coat
Storage
Safety: Flammable 2K solvent-borne material; PC hardeners contain isocyanates. Spray booth with extraction, A2P2 carbon respirator, gloves.
