VPL30100
VPL30100 UV-curing white gloss enamel (100 gloss)
Single-pack, white, high-gloss UV-curing enamel for spraying. It contains solvent (64 % solids), so it needs a flash-off/warm pre-dry before it goes under the UV lamps. Flows out very well, pleasant to the touch, high physical and chemical resistance. Recommended for finishing articles made of various wood species and MDF by spraying.
- White high-gloss MDF and solid-wood fronts, doors and cabinet parts on lines with UV curing
- Top coat over white UV primer

Mixing matrix
- % by weight: 20–30 (typ. 25) %catalog% by volume: 30–46 (typ. 38) %recommended
Always when spraying - the enamel is supplied to be brought to spray viscosity with thinner.
Both are catalogue-approved for UV materials. S30 is fast: shorter flash before the lamps and less risk of trapped solvent, but less flow. S31 is medium-evaporating with good cutting power: better flow and gloss, but give it a longer flash before the lamps.
- S13Thinner% by weight: 20–30 %recommended
Only as a stand-in for S30 when it is not available.
Not on the VPL30100 card - spray a test panel first.

Process and compatibility
- Substrate preparation
- MDF or solid wood, sanded and primed with white primer; sand the primer P240-P320 and dust off.recommended
- Sanding
- Between coats P320-P400 after UV cure. Do not sand the final gloss coat unless you can polish it back.recommended
- Temperature and humidity
- 15-25 °C, RH 50-70 % in the spray booth; flash at 30-35 °Crecommended
- Don'ts
- Don't send it under the UV lamps without a flash-off - trapped solvent gives craters, poor cure and lost gloss.
- Don't lay more than 130 g/m² in one pass - the white pigment stops UV reaching the bottom of the film.
- Don't mix with 2K PU/acrylic products or add hardeners.
- Don't leave open tins or a loaded gun in sunlight or under the lamps - it will start to gel.
- Don't recoat cured enamel without sanding.
Storage
- Storage temperature
- 5-25 °C, in closed opaque containers, away from lightrecommended
Safety: Contains flammable solvents and acrylate monomers (skin irritant, can sensitise). Nitrile gloves, goggles, A-type organic vapour respirator; UV lamps only behind shielding - never expose eyes or skin.
