VPL30040
VPL30040 UV-cure white enamel, 40 gloss
Single-pack, spray-grade white UV-cure enamel, satin (40 gloss). Excellent flow-out, gives a pleasant-to-touch film with high physical and chemical resistance. Cures only under UV lamps — it will not dry on its own.
- White satin topcoat for furniture fronts and panels on lines with UV curing
- Spray-applied parts that then pass through a UV curing tunnel

Mixing matrix
- S31Thinner% by weight: 10–25 (typ. 15) %recommended
Default for spraying at 18–25 °C.
Let the solvent flash off completely before the UV lamps (5–10 min at 30–35 °C).
- % by weight: 10–20 (typ. 15) %recommended
Short line or little flash-off time before UV; small parts.
On large flat panels may give orange peel and dry overspray.
- S11Thinner% by weight: 15–20 %recommended
If the line already runs S11 per Technocolor's VTL300xx UV lacquer schedule.
Catalog lists S11 as a medium-evaporation thinner for polyester gloss lacquers.

- Temperature and humidity

- Don'ts
- Don't send it under the lamps before the solvent has flashed off
- Don't expect it to dry without UV — it won't
- Don't leave it in clear containers or in daylight
- Don't add PU hardeners — it doesn't take one
Storage
- Storage temperature
- 5–25 °C, darkrecommended
Safety: UV acrylate monomers are strong skin sensitisers: nitrile gloves, goggles and a respirator for spraying. Shield eyes and skin from the UV lamps. (Recommendation, not from a Technocolor SDS.)
