PTS10
PTS10 clear PU sanding sealer, economy grade
Two-pack clear polyurethane sanding sealer, economy grade. Wets out the timber well, good clarity, holds on verticals without runs or sags, and doesn't attack stains, so it can go straight over a stained surface. Very quick to sand — 2 hours — and sands easily (catalog, dealer).
- sealing interior furniture and joinery in various timbers under PU lacquers
- sealer over stains and dyes (doesn't lift or bleed the colour)
- production work where a fast 2 h sand and low cost matter

Answers are based on the PTS10 data and the products it mixes with.
Mixing matrix
- PC20Hardener% by weight: 40 %official% by volume: 40 %official
the default — official site and catalog agree
Note: the dealer lists PC20/PC25 at 50 %, which looks copied from PTS20. The official page and catalog both say 40 %.
- PC10Hardener% by weight: 50 %catalog
catalog alternative; PC10 is a fairly reactive aromatic hardener intended for sealers
Volume % not published
- % by weight: 50 %dealer% by volume: 50 %dealer
per the dealer card
Conflicts with the official page (PC20 40 %); PC25 isn't listed officially for PTS10. Confirm with Technocolor before relying on it.
- S50Thinner% by weight: 20–30 (typ. 25) %official% by volume: 25–35 %official
always; 20 % for build, 30 % for a 1.5 mm tip or intricate profiles
Dealer gives 30–40 % by volume, official site 25–35 %. 25 % by weight default is the mid-point.
- S80Thinner% by weight: 20–30 %recommended
above ~25 °C, large panels
Doesn't change cure time; more dust pick-up and more sag risk — go easy on verticals.

- Не опубликовано; данные приведены для 20 °C. Обычное окно для PU — 18–25 °C, отн. влажность 50–70 %; изоцианатные отвердители реагируют с влагой, поэтому высокая влажность вызывает побеление и пузыри.
- Don'ts
- don't use the mix past its 3–4 h pot life
- don't flood it on in one pass — two crossed passes are better
- don't sand before 2 h — the paper clogs
- don't confuse it with PTS20: PTS10 officially takes 40 % hardener, not 50 %

Safety: Solvent-borne two-pack PU with an isocyanate hardener: spray in an extracted booth, wear an A2P2/A2P3 respirator (air-fed preferred), nitrile gloves and eye protection. Keep away from naked flames. (General PU practice — no SDS found.)
