VPL60100 UV-curing white gloss enamel

White, high-gloss pigmented UV-curing enamel for spray application. Gives a high-gloss finish. Cures only under UV lamps — it will not dry on its own in air.

Mixing matrix

  • S13 / S30 / S31Thinner
    % by weight: 0–10 (typ. 5) %recommended% by volume: 0–14 (typ. 7) %recommended

Only to trim spray viscosity. S31 is the default (medium evaporation); S13/S30 when you need a fast flash-off.

No hardener — single-component UV system. All solvent must be gone before the lamp, or you get bubbling and dull patches.

Analogue from the official schedule: UV lacquer VTL30040 : S11 = 100 : 20 sprayed on mouldings. Not published for VPL60100 — a reference point, not a spec.

S11 is catalogued for polyester gloss lacquers; use with the enamel only after a test panel.

Use opaque hoses and cups (metal or UV-blocking plastic); do not leave material in a translucent cup in daylight — it will start to gel.

Don'ts
  • Do not add hardeners or PU/acrylic components — it is not a 2K system
  • Do not send to the lamp without a flash-off — solvent will boil
  • Do not lay more than ~120 g/m² per pass (official rate 110–120 g/m²) — white pigment blocks through-cure of a thick film
  • Do not store or hold in clear containers in light

Storage

Safety: Contains reactive acrylate monomers — skin sensitiser: nitrile gloves, goggles, ventilation. UV lamps — shield eyes and skin from the radiation.
