VPL20053
VPL20053 White gloss UV-cure enamel for laser-engraved rollers
White gloss UV-curing enamel for roller-coating lines fitted with a laser-engraved (anilox-type) application roller. Per Technocolor: flows out well, high physical and chemical resistance, stable on the line. Roller spread rate 20–25 g/m². Cures only under UV lamps on the line — no hardener, so there is no chemical pot life in the trough. Flat parts only (furniture panels, boards).
- White gloss finish on flat furniture panels on UV roller lines (official: roller application)
- White topcoat over white UV roller primer/filler

Mixing matrix
- none% by weight: 0 %recommended
Normal roller-line use
No hardener — cures by UV.
- % by weight: 0–5 %recommended
Only to trim viscosity if the enamel won't transfer properly (cold shop, thick batch). Warming the enamel to 25–30 °C is better than thinning.
S31 is medium evaporation; S13/S30 are fast. Thinned material needs a flash-off before the UV lamp.

Flat parts only. Spread rate is set by the doctor/metering roller gap and conveyor speed. De-dust parts before coating.
Process and compatibility
- Substrate preparation
- Flat panel primed with white UV roller filler/primer, cured and sanded P240–P320, de-dusted.recommended
- Sanding
- Before the enamel: P240–P320 on the cured primer. The final gloss coat is not sanded.recommended
- Temperature and humidity
- material and parts 20–25 °C, RH ≤ 70 %recommended
- Don'ts
- Don't spray it — it's a roller material
- Don't add hardener
- Don't leave the enamel exposed to daylight/UV in open cans or the trough
- Not for profiled parts

Safety: No safety data on the official page. UV acrylates are skin sensitisers: wear nitrile gloves and eye protection, and shield eyes/skin from the lamp UV. (derived)
