PPL200
PPL200 White high-gloss PU enamel (100 gloss)
Two-pack white high-gloss (100 gloss) polyurethane enamel, cured with AC200, the hardener for gloss materials. Excellent hiding, including on corners and edges, a smooth, high-gloss surface, high strength and chemical resistance, and it polishes easily. Part A is 70 % solids (catalog). Thin only with the slow thinners S70/S80 (dealer, catalog).
- Gloss finishing of doors, furniture fronts and kitchen tables
- High-gloss MDF fronts for bathrooms over EPS20 polyester primer (official schedule, polished afterwards)
- Topcoat enamel for mirror polishing (catalog: «polishes well»)

Mixing matrix
- AC200Hardener% by weight: 70 %official% by volume: 100 %official
Always. AC200 is the PU hardener for gloss materials; fixed ratio.
70 parts by weight = 100 parts by volume: part A is much heavier than the hardener, so by volume it's 1:1. Don't mix the two up.

- AC200Hardener% by weight: 70 %schedule
Schedule «Gloss finishing of MDF bathroom fronts (PE+PU)», step 12.
The page says «C200 : 70%» — there's no such code in the catalog; by context and ratio it's AC200.
- S70Thinner% by weight: 20–30 %official% by volume: 30–50 %official
Always, to spray viscosity. S70 is the slow general-purpose PU thinner.
The official site gives no default; the dealer uses 30 % by weight / 50 % by volume. Dealer: «use only with slow thinners». Medium S50 and fast S30 are out — poorer flow-out, orange peel, lost gloss (inferred).

- % by weight: 30–40 %catalog
2025–2026 catalog: S70 or S80.
S80 is also slow (catalog p.19, «for high-gloss PU materials»); picking S80 for hot shops, large flat panels and maximum flow-out is inferred.
- S80Thinner% by weight: 40 %schedule
Gloss MDF bathroom-front schedule (PE+PU), step 12, 150 g/m², then forced dry at 30–35 °C.

The catalog shows the orange spray-gun icon (per the transcript, probably air spray); the official page just says «spraying». Air spray has low transfer efficiency (up to 40 %, official methods page) — allow extra material.

For production runs on fronts. You can get 100 gloss with airmix, but orange peel shows more than with HVLP — dial in tip and pressure on a test panel.
Electrostatic
The official methods page allows electrostatic with any spray system; nothing specific for PPL200 — the mix resistivity isn't published.

- Temperature and humidity
- 18–25 °C material, air and substrate; RH 50–70 %; forced drying 30–35 °C allowed after flash-offrecommended
- Don'ts
- Don't exceed the recommended film thickness (dealer) — 150 g/m² per pass
- Don't thin with fast or medium thinners (S30, S50) — slow S70/S80 only (dealer: «only with slow thinners»)
- Don't swap the hardener: AC200 only, 70 % by weight
- Don't use the mix past its 4 h pot life
- Don't polish before 72 h
- Don't skip stirring part A thoroughly before catalysing — the pigment settles (dealer: «mix thoroughly before use»)
- Don't put a fresh panel straight into a 30–35 °C oven without flash-off — solvent pop
