LNB613 hardener for PU coatings

Milesi isocyanate hardener for two-pack polyurethane coatings. It has no page of its own on t-color.ru — it only appears as the second component of the white thixotropic PU primer LBR102 (alternative to LNB77: 40 wt% / 55 vol% instead of 50 % / 65 %). Per the Milesi TDS the LNB613 mix gives 'excellent elasticity and filling power' and a longer pot life (4 h for LBR102, 3 h for LBR90 vs 2 h with LNB77). Solids 26 ± 1 %.

  • second component of LBR102 white thixotropic PU primer (official, 40 wt%)
  • second component of LBR90 black PU primer (Milesi TDS, 40 wt%; t-color.ru only lists LNB77 for LBR90)
  • second component of Milesi LBR608 PU primer (dealer test, 2:1 by volume)

Process and compatibility

Substrate preparation

Temperature and humidity
apply 15–30 °C (optimum 18–22 °C), RH 50–70 % during drying (optimum 65–70 %); no drying below 15 °Cdatasheet
Mixing
shake the base well before use; add LNB613 and thinner by weight; shake/stir the complete mix again before use; decant only into polyethylene or stainless-steel containers; close cans carefully after usedatasheet
Don'ts
  • Don't eyeball it — on LBR102, LNB613 and LNB77 are dosed differently (40 % vs 50 % by weight, 55 % vs 65 % by volume).
  • Don't leave the can open: isocyanate hardener reacts with moisture in the air, goes cloudy and gels.
  • Don't use the mix past 4 h (LBR102) / 3 h (LBR90).
  • Don't use under whites that must stay white without a test panel — Milesi labels LNB190, not LNB613, as yellowing-resistant.

Safety: Contains isocyanates (including a volatile 'free' fraction) and organic solvents. Spray only in an extracted booth with an A2P2 respirator (air-fed is better), nitrile gloves and goggles. Highly flammable — keep away from flames and sparks.
