PolyurethanePrimer

LBR102

LBR102 white thixotropic polyurethane primer (2K)

Two-component white thixotropic polyurethane primer with high solids (~72 %). Wets out very well, levels over grain/figure, dries fast and runs beautifully on electrostatic bell and disc installations. Its low shrink-back makes it a good base under high-gloss finishes. Sands easily by hand or machine and stays flexible.

  • electrostatic priming of chairs, turned parts and beech furniture
  • white primer under high-gloss pigmented finishes
  • MDF, HDF, veneered panels and solid wood (resinous and non-resinous softwoods, light and dark hardwoods)

To build fuller gloss finishes and bind the product better — add clear PU primers LBA22–LBA26 up to 30 %, catalyse with LNB77.

Dealer also advises one or more intermediate coats of clear PU primer for a better gloss result.
