LKR6AB16
LKR6AB16 White PU converter, 10 gloss
Two-pack polyurethane white converter with a deep matt finish (10 gloss), from the solvent-borne converters range of the tinting system. Used on its own as a white matt enamel, or as the white base for light and pastel shades tinted with pigment pastes. High hiding power, excellent scratch and yellowing resistance, good physical/chemical resistance and a clean white. Catalysed with LNB20 at 50 % by weight (70 % by volume), thinned with LZC8643 or S80 at 20–30 % by weight.
- White deep-matt furniture and MDF-front topcoat (spray 120–150 g/m², official)
- Base for tinted light/pastel 10-gloss enamels mixed to SPECTRUM formulas (catalog, tinting-system section)
- Jobs where scratch resistance and a non-yellowing white matter (official: 'excellent scratch and yellowing resistance')

Mixing matrix
- LNB20Hardener% by weight: 50 %official% by volume: 70 %official
The only listed hardener — always.
Fixed ratio — weigh it: too little gives a soft, weak film, too much makes it brittle. Dealer LNB20 (MILESI) card: 'solids part A 0.98 ± 0.03' (as printed — looks like density) and 'viscosity part A 25 ± 1 %' (looks like solids; Milesi TDS gives LNB20 solids 25.0 ± 2 %, density 0.976); 'hardener for PU primers and matt lacquers… for LBA and LGA series'.
- LZC8643Thinner% by weight: 20–30 (typ. 25) %official% by volume: 30–40 %official
Officially a slow PU thinner ('Разбавитель ПУ медленный', for PU and acrylic materials); Milesi's standard thinner for the KKR/LKR enamels.
Density 0.858 kg/l (Milesi TDS, derived). Both listed thinners are slow. Adjust to ~20 s Ford 4 working viscosity — the KKR2 sibling uses 30 % by weight.
- S80Thinner% by weight: 20–30 (typ. 25) %official% by volume: 30–40 %official
Slow thinner: above ~25 °C, large flat panels, for an even matt.
Official: specific gravity 0.84 ± 0.01, slow evaporation. More dust pick-up and sag risk on verticals; does not change cure time (workshop).

For chairs and assembled furniture; check mix resistivity.
Airless
Not recommended for the finish coat — coarser atomisation, uneven matt.
Process and compatibility
- Substrate preparation
- Over a sanded white pigmented PU primer (e.g. LBR102 or PPS50277) or a polyester primer, sanded P280–P320–P400, dust-freerecommended
- Sanding
- primer P280–P400 before topcoat; no sanding of the final matt coatrecommended
- Don'ts
- Don't work below 15 °C — cure suffers.
- Don't eyeball the LNB20 ratio (50 % by weight) — weigh it.
- Don't sand or polish the final 10-gloss coat — it goes patchy and shiny.
- Don't use the mix past its pot life.
- Don't swap in other systems' hardeners (AC40, PC60, etc.) — only LNB20 is listed.
Storage
- Shelf life

Safety: Solvent-borne 2K PU with isocyanate hardener: spray booth, A2/P2 respirator or air-fed mask, gloves, spark-proof equipment, no smoking. See the SDS.
