PTL90 UM
PTL90 UM PU parquet lacquer, 10 gloss
Two-component polyurethane lacquer for parquet and stairs. Flows out very well, pleasant to the touch, very elastic, chemical- and abrasion-resistant — a good balance of hardness and flexibility. Can be used as its own sealer. The film ambers with age: don't use over white enamels or pale/bleached wood.
- Parquet floors and stairs in any wood species
- Engineered boards, treads and risers
- Self-sealer under its own topcoat

Mixing matrix
- PC90Hardener% by weight: 50 %official% by volume: 50 %official
Always; fixed 2:1 ratio (lacquer : hardener).
PC90 is the dedicated parquet-lacquer hardener; confirmed by dealer and catalog (50 %).
- S70Thinner% by weight: 20–30 (typ. [object Object]) %official% by volume: 25–35 %official
Slow PU thinner — the default choice.
- S80Thinner% by weight: 20–30 (typ. [object Object]) %official% by volume: 25–35 %official
Slow thinner — for heat (above ~25 °C) and large flat areas; more dust pick-up and sag risk.
Thinner choice doesn't change cure time (S50/S80 — owner's notes).
- S50Thinner% by weight: 20–30 (typ. [object Object]) %official% by volume: 25–35 %official
Universal, normal evaporation — for a cool shop and vertical surfaces. Listed for UM only on the official page.
Thinner choice doesn't change cure time (S50/S80 — owner's notes).

Manufacturer gives 150 g/m² per coat. S70/S80 are slow thinners, so watch for runs on verticals; on flat work (boards, treads) they give excellent flow-out. UM also allows the universal S50.

Process and compatibility
- Substrate preparation
- Dry wood (8–12 % MC), sanded: floors finish at P120–P150, veneer/treads P180. Remove all dust; no oil, wax or silicone.recommended

- Don'ts
- Don't use over white enamels or pale/bleached wood — it yellows.
- Don't use mix past its 4 h pot life — discard leftovers.
- Don't change the PC90 ratio (50 %).
- Don't sand or polish the final matt coat.
