LNB6A37 hardener for polyurethane coatings

MILESI hardener for two-component polyurethane (acrylic-PU) coatings. It has no page on t-color.ru. Officially it appears only as a hardener for the LDA401 gloss acrylic lacquer, listed first alongside LNB110, at 70–100 % by weight and by volume. The Technocolor dealer (t-colormarket.ru) describes it as 'hardener for polyurethane materials; improved isolating power, ideal penetration into wood, excellent clarity'. It gives the use as 'isolating sealer for exotic species (rosewood, teak, etimoe, padauk, zebrano, etc.) and MDF'. That card text looks borrowed from the isolating sealer system this hardener goes with, and the dealer does not name that sealer base.

  • second component of the LDA401 gloss acrylic lacquer: 70–100 % by weight / 70–100 % by volume
  • per the dealer, hardener for an isolating sealer system for oily exotic species (rosewood, teak, etimoe, padauk, zebrano) and MDF; that system's base is not named

Mixing matrix

  • LDA401base
    % by weight: 70–100 %official% by volume: 70–100 %official

LDA401 gloss acrylic lacquer: the first of two hardeners on the official page (the other is LNB110). Thinner in the same mix: LZC8643 or S80 at 20–30 %.

No official word on when to use LNB6A37 versus LNB110. The dealer describes LNB110 specifically as the hardener for gloss PU lacquers and enamels. Don't mix the two hardeners in one batch.

  • LZC8643Thinner
    % by weight: 20–30 %official% by volume: 20–30 %official

MILESI slow PU thinner, listed first for LDA401 (the other is S80).

  • S80Thinner
    % by weight: 20–30 %official% by volume: 20–30 %official

Technocolor slow thinner, the alternative to LZC8643 (above ~25 °C, large flat panels).

Workshop notes: S80 doesn't change cure time, but expect more dust pick-up and a higher sag risk.

Application

Mixing

Why ru
Стандартная практика 2К. Взвешивание предпочтительнее, так как официальное соотношение дано по массе; жизнеспособность — по данным дилера.

The hardener is never applied on its own. Order: stir the base → add LNB6A37 by weight (scales beat a measuring cup) → mix → add thinner → strain (125–190 µm) → rest 5–10 min → check viscosity. Use the mix up within its pot life (dealer: 4 h at 20 °C, shorter in heat).

Brushing applies only to the dealer's isolating sealer system; officially LDA401 is spray-only.

  • No official t-color.ru page and no TDS/SDS PDF found (other dealers lakokraska31/woodonline/ndom31 return nothing for LNB6A37; web search budget exhausted again at verification 2026-10-05)
  • Not mentioned in any Technocolor catalog transcript, including the hardener chart, or in any official finishing schedule
  • Unclear whether the dealer's solids 43 ± 1 % and viscosity 10 ± 2 s CF-4 describe the hardener itself or the part A of an unnamed isolating sealer
