LGA22
LGA22 clear 2K polyurethane lacquer, matt (20 gloss)
Two-pack high-solids clear polyurethane topcoat, matt (20 gloss). Good filling power, hard surface and a very smooth feel. Catalysed with LNB77 at 50 % by weight, thinned 10–30 % with LZC1026/LZC1051. Spray (conventional, airmix, vacuum) or curtain coat at 120–140 g/m². Topcoat only — never straight onto bare wood, seal with a PU sealer first.
- matt topcoat for furniture, doors, frames and mouldings
- chairs and turned parts
- veneered or solid-wood fronts over PU sealer
- over CLT (Kromolux) stain + PU sealer

Standard, the official choice.
LNB77 is the hardener for PU primers and matt lacquers (dealer, MILESI), solids 25 ± 1 % (dealer) / 23.5 ± 2 % (2015 TDS) / 23.4 ± 2 % (Italian LNB77 TDS). No yellowing-resistance claim — over pale bases prefer LNB20. TDS volume figure is 51.1 %; the site rounds to 50 %.
- LNB7Hardener% by weight: 50 %datasheet% by volume: 50.1 %datasheet
When you want faster drying (dust free 15 min, touch 45 min).
Sheen drops to 15 ± 1 GU. The 2007 TDS also allows 50 % LNB7. Not on the Technocolor site and not found at t-colormarket.ru — check availability.
- LNB20Hardener% by weight: 50 %datasheet% by volume: 51.1 %datasheet
Over pale timbers, whitened oak, light stains — less yellowing.
TDS: 'good yellowing resistance'; pot life 3 h. Sold by t-colormarket.ru (MILESI, 'for the LBA and LGA series'); Technocolor uses it with KGA1/KKR1/LKR6.
- LNB14 / LNB500Hardener% by weight: 50 %datasheet
When faster drying and higher hardness are needed.
Sheen about 10 units lower than with LNB77. Not listed by Technocolor.
- % by weight: 10–30 (typ. 20) %official% by volume: 10–30 %official
Normal conditions, 18–22 °C. 20 % gives 16 ± 2 s Ford 4.
LZC1026 is the universal medium thinner; LZC1051 is the PU 'extra' medium thinner (Milesi LZC TDS). Italian dealer quotes 15–20 %.
- LZC8643Thinner% by weight: 30–50 %datasheet
Above 25 °C.
Slow PU thinner — longer open time and better flow in the heat; TDS calls for 30–50 %.
- LZC1051 / LTC4Additive% by weight: 2–3 %datasheet
To improve flow-out.

Process and compatibility
- Substrate preparation
- Over PU sealer only — never on bare wood. Milesi schedule: walnut veneer/solid → CLT (Kromolux) stain → 2–3 coats LBA26 PU sealer → LGA22. Sand sealer P320–P400 and dust off. Timber at 8–14 % MC.datasheet
- Sanding
- Sealer before topcoat: P320–P400. Don't sand or polish the matt topcoat — you'll get shiny patches; for a repair, sand the whole face and recoat fully.recommended
- Temperature and humidity
- optimum 18–22 °C, 65–70 % RH, timber 8–14 %; apply only at 15–30 °C; drying not below 15 °C, RH 50–70 %datasheet
- Don'ts
- don't apply onto bare wood
- don't use the mix past 3 h
- don't stack before hard dry (18 h)
- don't apply below 15 °C or above 30 °C
- above 25 °C don't thin with plain LZC1026 — use 30–50 % LZC8643
Storage
- Shelf life
- 18 months from production (2015 TDS); 8 months from delivery (2007 TDS)datasheet
- Storage temperature
- 0–35 °C, ventilated, out of the sun (2015); 18–25 °C, tightly closed (2007)datasheet
- Packaging
- 5 ldealer
Safety: Solvent-borne 2K, isocyanate in the hardener. Spray booth, organic-vapour respirator, gloves, no naked flames, spark-proof equipment. See SDS.
