LGA20
LGA20 polyurethane clear lacquer, 53 gloss (medium gloss)
Two-pack high-solids clear polyurethane topcoat, medium gloss (53 GU). Good build/filling, good surface hardness, very smooth surface. Applied by conventional spray, airmix or curtain coater. Standard hardener LNB77 at 50 % by weight (2 parts lacquer : 1 part hardener); for pale surfaces the less-yellowing LNB20.
- topcoat for furniture, doors, frames and mouldings
- chairs and turned parts
- veneer and solid wood (TDS schedule: walnut) — only over a PU sealer

Other
- Label
- 'vacuum spraying' (as worded on the official page)
Mentioned on the official page with no data; probably vacuum coating of mouldings. No parameters known.
Process and compatibility
- Substrate preparation
- Veneer or solid wood at 8–14 % moisture content. Never over bare wood — only over a PU sealer.datasheet
- Goes over
- LBA26 / CLT (Kromolux stain series)
- Goes over (derived)
- LBA42,LBA521,LBA528recommended
- Sanding
- Sand sealer P320–P400 (P280 on open grain), de-dust; topcoat not normally sanded. Do not sand/polish the final 53-gloss film — it is a matted finish and polishing makes shiny patches.recommended
- Temperature and humidity
- Apply 18–22 °C, RH 65–70 %; never apply below 15 °C or above 30 °C; don't dry below 15 °C; RH during drying 50–70 %datasheet
- Don'ts
- don't apply over bare wood
- don't stack straight off a drying tunnel
- don't apply below 15 °C or above 30 °C
- don't polish the final coat
