ATL203
ATL203 High-solids (HS) acrylic gloss lacquer (100 gloss)
Two-pack acrylic (acrylic-PU, cured with the AC200 / AC202 isocyanate hardener) high-gloss, high-solids (HS) clear lacquer. Good physical and chemical resistance, high gloss, non-yellowing over time, fast drying and easy to polish. Flows out well, goes on without bubbles and gives a crystal-clear finish with a thick 'lens' and very deep gloss. Compared with the standard ATL200 gloss clear (45 % solids) it builds noticeably more film per pass. No official t-color.ru page — data from the 2025-2026 catalog and t-colormarket.
- Finishing any wood species
- Kitchen and bathroom furniture
- High-gloss topcoat with a thick 'lens' — piano-gloss, doors, table tops
- Finish meant to be polished (catalog: 'easily polished'; dealer: 'polishes')

Mixing matrix
- % by weight: 70 %dealer% by volume: 70 %dealer
Always. The dealer lists AC200 or AC202 as alternatives — 70 % by weight and by volume.
AC202 (~38 % solids) is slightly thinner than AC200 (~44 %); same dose. Don't mix the two hardeners in one batch.
- AC200Hardener% by weight: 70–100 %catalog
2025-2026 catalog: AC200 only, 70–100 %.
The 100 % (1:1) upper limit is catalog-only; the dealer gives 70 %. Default 70 %.
- % by weight: 10–20 (typ. 15) %dealer% by volume: 10–20 (typ. 15) %dealer
Always, to spraying viscosity. Both are slow: S70 is the thinner for dead-matt and high-gloss materials, S80 for hot weather and big flat panels.
Dealer and catalog agree: 10–20 %. The low thinner dose is the whole point of an HS lacquer — over-thinning throws away the build. The 15 % default is a mid-point, not sourced.

Process and compatibility
- Substrate preparation
- Fully cured, flat, pore-filled base (2K PU primer such as PPS50277 / PPS20, or an enamel/effect coat), sanded P400–P600, blown off and tack-ragged. On open-grain timber fill the pores first — a 100-gloss lens shows every defect.recommended

- Temperature and humidity
- 18–25 °C material, air and substrate; RH 50–70 %; above ~25 °C use S80recommended
- Don'ts
- Never use without AC200/AC202, and stick to 70 % (catalog allows up to 100 %)
- Don't thin beyond 20 % — you lose the HS build and the lens
- Don't mix AC200 and AC202 in one batch
- Don't lay more than two wet coats in a row — sags and solvent pop
- Don't use past the 3–4 h pot life — mix a fresh batch
- Don't polish before ~3 days
- Don't spray in high humidity or onto cold parts

Safety: Two-pack material with an isocyanate hardener (AC200/AC202) and organic solvents: spray in an extracted booth with an A2P2 respirator or air-fed mask, nitrile gloves and eye protection. Flammable. (General practice — not from a Technocolor TDS.)
