- Why ru
- Страница методов: все системы распыления можно использовать с электростатическими пистолетами; отдельных данных по VPL30010 нет.
Officially electrostatics is used mainly for chairs, table legs and cots, with any spray system. Technocolor publishes no thinner requirement (polarity/resistivity) for electrostatics — check with the manufacturer.
Process and compatibility
- Substrate preparation
- MDF/veneer sanded P150–P220; white UV primer (e.g. VPS60011, 120–150 g/m²), cure, sand P280–P320, dedust.recommended
- Sanding · Before
- P240, P280, P320 on cured UV primerschedule
- Sanding · Between coats
- P320–P400recommended
- Sanding · Final
- Never sand or polish the final 10-gloss coat — it burnishes into shiny patches.
- Sanding · Why ru
- Полировка/натирка повышает блеск матовых плёнок; общая практика.
- Temperature and humidity
- 18–25 °C, RH ≤70 %; flash 30–35 °Crecommended
- Don'ts
- don't run it under the lamps without a flash-off — solvent boils (blisters, under-cure)
- don't lay it on heavier than ~130 g/m² in one pass — white pigment blocks through-cure
- don't add PU hardeners
- don't leave open cans in sunlight or near the lamps
- don't sand or polish the final flat coat
Storage
- Storage temperature
- 5–25 °C, darkrecommended
Safety: Contains acrylate monomers and solvents: spray in an extracted booth, nitrile gloves and an A-filter respirator; acrylates are skin sensitisers. Flammable. Shield eyes from the UV lamps.
