LGA2AA46
LGA2AA46 2K PU lacquer, 10 gloss (dead matt)
Two-pack clear polyurethane lacquer, dead matt (10 gloss), for interior furniture and joinery. High scratch resistance (tested to EN 15186), good flow-out and film hardness; certified to EN 71-1 (toy safety), so it is suitable for children's furniture. Cured with 50 % isocyanate hardener on the lacquer (100:50, i.e. 2:1 by weight and by volume) (LNB20, LNB6AA0 or LNB77) and thinned with S50/S80. Spray application only. There is no dealer card on t-colormarket.ru and no public technical data sheet, so solids, viscosity, pot life and drying times have not been published.
- Dead-matt clear topcoat over a 2K PU sealer on solid wood, veneer and MDF furniture (interior)
- Tabletops, doors and carcasses where scratch resistance matters
- Children's furniture and toys (EN 71-1)

Mixing matrix
- LNB20Hardener% by weight: 50 %official% by volume: 50 %official
Listed first. Choose it for pale timber, whitewashed and light-toned finishes — better non-yellowing; on the LGA2x analogue pot life is shorter (3 h vs 4 h with LNB77) and dust-free is quicker.
Exactly 50 % (100:50) — the matting and the scratch resistance are built around that ratio; 'a bit extra hardener' does not make it harder, it shifts the sheen.
- LNB6AA0Hardener% by weight: 50 %official% by volume: 50 %official
Official alternative.
LNB6AA0 has no dealer card and no separate t-color.ru page — properties unknown; by its code it is probably a variant of LNB6 (Milesi LNB06, higher solids). Check with Technocolor before ordering.
- LNB77Hardener% by weight: 50 %official% by volume: 50 %official
Standard PU hardener — for dark timbers and dark stains where ambering won't show; on the LGA2x analogue pot life is slightly longer (4 h).
Probably aromatic (no non-yellowing claim) — may amber on maple, ash and whitewashed oak over time.
- S50Thinner% by weight: 20–40 (typ. 30) %official% by volume: 20–40 %official
Universal, normal evaporation — the default, for vertical work and 18–25 °C.
Does not change cure time (workshop notes).
- S80Thinner% by weight: 20–40 %official% by volume: 20–40 %official
Slow — above ~25 °C, large flat panels, when you need more flow-out.
More dust pick-up and sag risk on verticals; on a dead-matt lacquer a slow thinner can give slightly patchy sheen on big panels — test on a sample.

- Recoat
- 2–24 h (wet-on-dry after denib) recommended
- Sanding between coats
- PU sealer: P280–P320 (P320–P400 on MDF). Between lacquer coats: light denib P400–P600 / grey Scotch-Brite. Never sand or rub the final dead-matt coat — it burnishes to shiny patches.recommended
- Gun distance
- 15–20 cmrecommended
Stir part A until uniform — the matting agent settles. Lay a full wet coat, cross-hatched, 50–75 % overlap: thin 'dry' passes on a dead matt give striping and patchy sheen.

Process and compatibility
- Substrate preparation
- Wood/veneer: sand P150–P180–P220, de-dust; timber moisture 8–12 %. MDF: PU isolating sealer. Under the lacquer: 1–2 coats of PU sealer, sanded P280–P320.recommended
- Temperature and humidity
- Apply at 18–25 °C (allowed 15–30 °C), 50–70 % RH during drying; never dry below 15 °C; part and lacquer at room temperature; timber moisture 8–14 %.recommended
- Don'ts
- Don't change the hardener dose (50 %, 100:50)
- Don't sand or burnish the final coat
- Don't spray on damp timber or in high humidity
- Don't use the mix past its pot life or top an old pot up with fresh mix
- Don't seal leftover mixed material (CO₂ from moisture reaction swells the can)
- Don't stack or wrap parts before 24 h
Storage
- Shelf life
- ≈ 12 months, sealed original can (assumed) monthsrecommended
- Storage temperature
- 0–35 °Crecommended
Safety: Solvent-borne 2K PU: highly flammable; the hardener contains isocyanates (respiratory sensitiser). Spray in a booth with extraction, A2/P2 respirator or supplied air, nitrile gloves, goggles; spark-proof equipment, no smoking. The EN 71-1 certificate applies to the cured film, not to the wet product. See the SDS for base and hardener.
