KGA1

KGA1 clear (neutral) polyurethane tinting converter, 20 gloss

Two-pack clear (neutral) polyurethane tinting base, 20 gloss. Mixed with pigment pastes it makes coloured PU enamels and tinted lacquers to any SPECTRUM colour. Excellent compatibility with tinting pastes. Aromatic PU system, cured with LNB77 or LNB20 hardener (50 % by weight) and thinned with LZC1026/LZC8643. Meets EN 71-3 (toy safety — migration of elements).

  • Tinting base for PU enamels to RAL/NCS/sample in an in-house SPECTRUM tinting station
  • Tinted clear PU lacquers at 20 gloss
  • Interior furniture, doors/fronts, carcass parts, chairs — hand or robot spray
  • Deep and dark colours (clear base; use the white converter KKR1 for pastels)

    % by weight: 50 %official% by volume: 50 %official

Default option and the cheaper hardener. Hard dry 18 h.

The TDS makes no non-yellowing claim for this mix — for whites and pale shades prefer LNB20.

  • LNB20Hardener
    % by weight: 50 %official% by volume: 50 %official

Pale and white colours where yellowing matters; faster cure (hard dry 12 h).

Dealer note: 'for use with the LBA and LGA series'.

  • LNB190Hardener
    % by weight: 50 %datasheet% by volume: 53.2 %datasheet

Best yellowing resistance ('excellent' per the TDS).

Not listed by Technocolor (official site) and not found at t-colormarket.ru — Milesi TDS only; check availability with the dealer.

  • LZC1026 / LZC8643Thinner
    % by weight: 20–30 %official% by volume: 20–30 %official

Bringing the mix to spray viscosity. LZC1026 is the universal (medium-evaporation, 18–22 °C) thinner; LZC8643 is the slow one (heat, large panels, better flow-out).

Neither LZC1026 nor LZC8643 turns up in a t-colormarket.ru search. LZC8643 is officially named 'slow PU thinner'; LZC1026 is Milesi's universal thinner (no t-color.ru page). Numeric evaporation rates are not published.

    % by weight: 30 %datasheet% by volume: 35 %datasheet

    TDS recipe: 30 % LZC8643 gives 16 ± 2 s Ford 4 — ready to spray.

    Same with all three hardeners.

  • CS pastes (SPECTRUM)Additive
% by weight: per SPECTRUM recipe; maximum not published %recommended

    Tinting to recipe.

CS = pastes for solvent-borne (PU/acrylic) systems per the tinting leaflet; the allowed share for KGA1 is not published.
