Stir thoroughly — the pigment settles. Keep shaking the cup while you work. One even wet coat, no puddles; lighter on end grain. To wipe: spray, give it 1-3 min, then wipe along the grain with a sponge or lint-free rag, packing pigment into the pores. CPS51-62 are sold as wiping stains; no binder is listed for them.

Cloth or pad

Wiping with a sponge or soft rag removes the excess after spraying (Technocolor's method definition). CPS51-62 are officially 'pigment-based wiping stains'.

Roller coater (UV)

Flat parts on a roller-coater line only. Dealer gives 10-20 g/m²; no official schedule covers CPS51-62.

Brush

On exterior structures (fences, decks) it can be brushed on and wiped back with a rag.
