LDA846
LDA846 Thixotropic gloss PU lacquer
Two-pack clear gloss thixotropic MILESI polyurethane lacquer: holds a heavy wet film on verticals and profiled parts without running. Maximum build/hiding and enhanced gloss (about 90 GU). Catalysed with LNB837 at 50 % of the lacquer weight (2 parts lacquer : 1 part hardener).

Always — the only hardener listed for LDA846.
Fixed ratio, 50 % by weight and by volume (2 parts lacquer : 1 part hardener). LNB837 is also the hardener for the LQA836 isolating sealer (at 100 %). The t-colormarket.ru LNB837 page carries LQA836's text by mistake — ignore its numbers for LDA846.

LZC1026 — fast PU reducer (the TDS default); LZC1051 — general PU thinner, the official alternative.
LZC1026 is fast: on big flats or above ~25 °C it can leave dry edges and poor flow — switch to LZC1051. The slow PU thinners in the range (LZC70, LZC8643) are not officially listed for LDA846.

Gun 15–20 cm off the part, 50–75 % overlap, fan fully open. Gloss shows every speck — clean booth. Don't sand the final gloss coat; if you must cut-and-polish, wait 3–7 days for hardness.

Process and compatibility
- Substrate preparation
- Over sanded PU primer (P320–P400), dust off. Not onto bare wood — sealer/primer first.recommended
- Sanding
- Primer P320–P400 before lacquer. Leave the final gloss coat alone; fix defects with P800–P1500 + polish after 3–7 days.recommended
- Temperature and humidity
- 18–25 °C, 50–70 % RH; not below 15 °C — cold/damp PU blushes and dries slowly.recommended
- Don'ts
- Don't thin past ~10 % without a reason — you lose sag resistance and build.
- Don't use mix past pot life (≥ 6 h at 20 °C).
- Don't use over whites/pale timber where colour stability matters — PU ambers.
- Don't trust the t-colormarket LNB837 page numbers — they're LQA836's.
- Don't flood horizontals — thixotropic lacquers level worse (orange peel, unfilled pores).

Safety: Solvent-borne 2K PU; hardener contains isocyanates. Spray in an extracted booth with an A2P2 respirator (air-fed preferred), nitrile gloves, goggles. Flammable — no ignition sources. Don't seal leftover mixed material in a closed can.
