KDA1
KDA1 clear gloss tinting converter (2K PU, 100 gloss)
Clear high-gloss 2K polyurethane tinting base (made by Milesi). Tinted with pigment pastes it gives off-the-gun 100-gloss PU enamels — mainly dark and strong colours. Excellent compatibility with tinting pastes, high gloss. Cured with the gloss hardener LNB110 at 2:1 by weight.
- Base for tinted high-gloss PU enamels (dark and strong colours)
- High-gloss cabinet doors, carcass furniture, MDF over polyester primer
- Off-the-gun gloss finish without polishing (light buffing possible)

Mixing matrix
- LNB110Hardener% by weight: 50 %official% by volume: 50 %official
Technocolor standard: 100 : 50.
Weigh against the tinted base (converter + pastes). LNB110 is Milesi's gloss PU hardener, 36 ± 1 % solids (t-colormarket.ru).
- LNB110Hardener% by weight: 50 %dealer% by volume: 62 %dealer
Volume conversion given by the US Milesi dealer.
Same weight %, but 62 % by volume instead of t-color.ru's 50 %. 62 % looks like the conversion for the dense white converter: Technocolor itself gives KHR1 50 % wt = 60 % vol. For clear KDA1 (density 0.977 g/cm³, close to the hardener's) 50 % wt ≈ 50 % vol, so the official figure is physically consistent. Dosing by weight is safer.
- LNB110Hardener% by volume: 100 %dealer
Wurth (USA) listing: 'LNB110 @ 100% (1/1) by volume'.
Conflicts with the official page (50 % by weight and by volume) and the Kromosystem TDS (LNB110 at 50 %, percentages by weight). At KDA1's 0.977 g/cm³, 1:1 by volume ≈ 100 % by weight — double the dose. Likely a listing error or a different US formulation. Do NOT use.
- % by weight: 20–40 (typ. 30) %official% by volume: 20–40 (typ. 30) %official
Both are slow PU thinners. LZC8643 is the main one; LZC70 the alternative slow thinner.
Slow thinner is what lets the gloss flow out; it raises dust pick-up and sag risk on verticals — don't overbuild the film.
- колеровочные пасты / tinting pastes (Milesi KMT bases; Technocolor paste range not specified)Additive% by weight: 30 % of tinted base (converter : paste up to 70 : 30)datasheet
Dark colours — neutral (clear) converter + pastes up to 70/30.
Rule from the Kromosystem TDS (KKR1). Which Technocolor pastes (CS?) are approved for KDA1 is not stated — take the recipe from the tinting station. Don't use expired pastes/converter: colour drifts.

Application
Conventional spray
- Consumption

- Coats
- 1–2 (1 full coat over a sanded polyester sealer is usual for gloss; 2nd coat for deep/dark colours)recommended

Technocolor only states 'spray, 130–150 g/m²'. Strain the mix (125–190 µm). Use the mix within 1 h — after that flow and gloss drop.
HVLP

- gravity cup, or 0.5–1.0 bar pressure potrecommended
For best gloss: fine atomisation, no dry overspray on edges, one full wet pass.

Methods page: airmix suits topcoats better than airless; fluid up to 20 bar, air 1–2 bar.
Electrostatic
Any spray system can run electrostatic (chairs, legs).
Airless
- Why ru
- Страница методов рекомендует airless для грунтов, airmix — для финишей; распыление airless слишком грубое для глянца 100 «с пистолета».
Not recommended for a gloss finish: the methods page positions airless for primers on large flat panels.
Process and compatibility
- Substrate preparation
- MDF or wood over a sanded polyester sealer (Milesi LPA/VBA/LRR series), sanded P280–P320–P400; de-dust.datasheet
- Sanding
- Polyester sealer P280–P320–P400 before the gloss coat; polish only after 3–7 days full curedatasheet
- Temperature and humidity
- work above 15 °C (data at 20 °C / 70 % RH); store 18–25 °Cdatasheet
- Don'ts
- Don't spray over PU sealers — lower gloss, sagging/die-back (Milesi)
- Don't work below 15 °C
- Don't polish before 3–7 days of full cure
- Don't buff a coloured coat hard — the colour shifts; use a clear top for a full polish
- Don't use the mix past 3 h; ideally use it within 1 h
- Don't use expired converter or pastes — colour drifts
- Don't dose hardener by volume by eye — sources disagree (50/62/100 % vol); weigh it at 100 : 50
