ATL21226
ATL21226 fast-drying 2K acrylic clear lacquer, 100 gloss
Two-pack 100-gloss acrylic clear catalysed with AC202. The dealer calls it the fastest-drying gloss acrylic clear in the Technocolor range: touch-dry in 30 min, sandable and polishable after 3 h, fully cured in 12 h. The trade-off is a pot life of only 1 hour. High physical and chemical resistance, high gloss, no yellowing with age. There's no page for it on t-color.ru; the special-effects catalog uses it as the gloss clear below and above the APL21081 chrome effect.
- High-gloss topcoat on any wood species
- Kitchen and bathroom furniture
- Gloss base coat and protective topcoat in the 'Chrome' effect system (APL21081)
- Fast-turnaround jobs where you need to polish the same day

Mixing matrix
- AC202Hardener% by weight: 40 %dealer% by volume: 40 %dealer
Always. AC202 is the hardener for gloss materials.
Fixed at 40 % by weight and 40 % by volume (dealer table). Don't swap in a matt-acrylic hardener such as AC40. Once mixed, you have 1 h of pot life.
- S80Thinner% by weight: 0–10 (typ. 5) %dealer% by volume: 0–10 %dealer
Only if needed ("S80 thinner can be added if necessary"): to help the gloss flow out, in hot weather, or on large flat panels.
Only the slow S80 is listed. The dealer doesn't list the universal S50, and it's best avoided on this gloss: it flashes faster and flows out worse. Thinner doesn't change cure time.

Process and compatibility
- Substrate preparation
- Fully cured, flat, pore-filled base (e.g. PPS50277 white PU primer → RAL enamel), sanded P400–P600, blown off and tack-ragged. On open-grain wood, fill the pores first: a 100-gloss clear shows every defect.recommended

- Temperature and humidity
- 18–25 °C material, air and substrate; RH 50–70 %; in heat, use S80 (up to 10 %) and mix smaller batchesrecommended
- Don'ts
- Don't use it without AC202, and don't swap in a matt-material hardener
- Don't use the mix more than 1 h after mixing; mix in small batches
- Don't add more than 10 % thinner, and don't swap S80 for a fast thinner
- Don't sand or polish before 3 h
- Don't spray in high humidity or onto cold parts
- Don't leave catalysed mix in the gun, pump or hoses

Safety: Two-pack material with an isocyanate hardener (AC202) and organic solvents: spray in an extracted booth with an A2P2 respirator or air-fed mask, nitrile gloves and eye protection. Flammable. (General practice, not from a Technocolor TDS.)
