XGC063

XGC063 exterior sealer/lacquer, 3-in-1 (30 gloss)

One-pack waterborne thixotropic exterior sealer/lacquer, 30 gloss. A 3-in-1 system: it is the impregnation, the sealer and the topcoat. Tint with the XHT series. Very weather-resistant and easy to apply. Per Milesi (XGC 63 Hydrocrom): special resins give excellent wetting and penetration into the timber; the film is highly elastic, has good blocking resistance and stands up well to weather and UV.

  • exterior joinery and structures: windows, doors, gazebos, fences, cladding
  • windows and doors (dimensionally stable joinery) — topcoat in Milesi cycles C2/C3/L1/L2/L3
  • softwoods and hardwoods, incl. extractive-rich hardwoods (over an isolating impregnation)

Light tint of the topcoat to match the XHT impregnation.

Always do a test board. Get the depth of colour from the XHT impregnation, not the lacquer; a clear(ish) topcoat over a pigmented impregnation weathers better.

Not covered by the sources
  • No t-colormarket.ru (or other dealer) listing for XGC063 — no dealer solids/viscosity/drying
  • No Technocolor/Milesi TDS found: solids, density, viscosity, dust-free/touch times are derived estimates
  • XHT tint ratio not published (derived 0–10 %)
  • Water dilution not published (derived 0–5 %)
  • Official spray rate (80–100 g/m²) is much lower than Milesi cycle rates (125–300 g/m²); identity XGC063 = Milesi 'XGC 63 Hydrocrom finitura grano OP30' inferred, not confirmed by Technocolor
  • Shelf life, storage temperature, packaging sizes, MFFT, chemical resistance not published
  • No sourced nozzle/pressure data — all spray-equipment settings are derived
  • Meaning of Milesi 'grano' (tone vs. clear) not defined in any source — do a test board
  • XGC063 absent from Technocolor 2025 catalogue transcripts and the exterior-materials leaflet (exterior waterborne line there is HTL60/HTL61/HPL60)
