VTL20030
UV-curing matt clear roller lacquer
Single-pack clear matt UV-curing lacquer for thin-film roller coating (8–12 g/m²) of flat panels. In Technocolor's official schedule it is the matt topcoat on anegri veneer over stain, UV filler VTS20011 and two coats of UV sealer VTS20029. It has no product page on the official site and is not in the catalog; by code and coat weight it is the matt version of the universal roller lacquer VTL20040 (100 % solids).
- Matt clear topcoat on flat veneered panels (anegri etc.) on UV roller lines
- Top over clear UV sealer VTS20029 sanded P240–P320

Flat parts only. Control viscosity by material temperature. Stir well before use — the matting agent settles. Thin film: it will not hide primer defects. Roller coater only: spray and curtain are not supported (100 % solids, not sprayable viscosity) — use Technocolor's spray-grade UV products for spraying. recommended

- Temperature and humidity

- Don'ts
- Do not spray — roller grade
- Do not thin with solvent — no flash zone on the line
- Keep out of daylight/UV — it will cure in the can or tray
- Not for profiled parts
- Do not sand or polish the matt finish — it burnishes to shiny patches
Storage
- Storage temperature
- 5–25 °C, dark, closed container; stir before userecommended
Safety: Uncured acrylates are skin sensitisers: nitrile gloves and glasses, wash skin with soap and water. Shield eyes/skin from UV lamp radiation. Cure leftovers in light before disposal.
