PPS74
PPS74 White 1K PU in-mould coating (release-side coat) for PU foam
Single-pack white polyurethane in-mould coating for making PU-foam (PPU) parts in moulds. Sprayed onto the mould face - normally over a clear wax- or silicone-based release agent, in some cases without one. When the foam is poured and rises, the coating transfers to the part, bonds well to the PU foam and leaves a ready white primer skin for further finishing. Dries in 5 minutes. No official t-color.ru page - data from t-colormarket.ru.

- white primer skin on the foam part straight out of the mould

Spray onto a clean mould over the wax or silicone release. Gun at 15-20 cm, don't let material pool in the recesses. Let it dry about 5 min, then pour the foam.

Process and compatibility
- Substrate preparation
- Clean, dry mould; apply a clear wax- or silicone-based release agent, then PPS74. In some cases it can go on without the release agent.dealer

- Sanding
- after demoulding: degrease, then scuff with sanding mats / P120-P180 before overcoatingrecommended
- Don'ts
- don't pour the foam before the coat has dried (~5 min)
- don't overcoat the part without degreasing off wax/silicone release residue
- don't add hardener - it is a 1K product
- don't thin beyond 10 % S10
