OTL10

OTL10 clear priming oil

Clear alkyd-based priming oil with driers. Protects timber against moisture and extends its service life; goes on as the first coat and noticeably cuts the consumption of the finish coat. Can be tinted with CL-series pastes (max 5 %), so it also works as the base for coloured oil stains. In the interior system it is topcoated with OTL20 oil.

  • First (priming) coat of an interior oil finish under OTL20 oil
  • Base for mixing coloured oil stains (tinted with CL pastes)
  • Moisture protection for timber and lower topcoat consumption

Single-component product: no mixing needed — use as supplied (see application below).

Why ru

Production option only: spray an even wet coat, then wipe the surplus after 5–10 min as usual. Clean the booth and filters often — oil mist with driers can self-ignite.

Don'ts
  • Don't leave surplus oil on the surface — wipe it off after 5–10 min
  • Don't recoat before 12 h
  • Don't thin beyond 5 % (S60) or tint beyond 5 % CL paste
  • Don't leave oily rags, clothes or sanding dust lying around — they can self-ignite
  • Don't work without gloves and ventilation

Safety: Wear respiratory, eye and hand protection and work clothing; gloves and ventilation are mandatory. Self-ignition risk: put oil-soaked rags, clothing and sanding dust in a sealed metal container, cover with water and dispose of. Keep away from children.
