LGA84
LGA84 multi-purpose (self-sealing) 2K PU lacquer, 20 gloss
Two-pack clear 'polyvalent' polyurethane lacquer at 20 gloss (matt): it works as both sealer and topcoat, so it can be sprayed on its own in one or two coats without a separate primer. Good build/fill, easy to spray, soft-feel matt film, non-yellowing and resistant to household products. Hardener at 50 % (LNB21 or LNB42), thinned with LZC1026.
- furniture fronts and panels
- interior doors
- kitchens and bathroom furniture (interior only)
- veneered MDF and solid wood of any species
- one- or two-coat self-sealing finish with no separate primer
- topcoat over LBA26/LBA38 PU sealers and CLT stains

Mixing matrix
- LNB21Hardener% by weight: 50 %official% by volume: 50 %official
First option on Technocolor's official page. Fixed ratio.
Hardener is moisture-sensitive — close the can straight away. The Milesi TDS found lists LNB77 instead of LNB21; pot life/drying with LNB21 specifically is not published.
- LNB42Hardener% by weight: 50 %official% by volume: 50 %official
When you want more film build (e.g. self-sealing two-coat work without a primer). Dries slightly slower.
Confirmed by the official page, timb.ru and the TDS.
- LNB77Hardener% by weight: 50 %dealer
When you need a more elastic film (solid timber that moves). Gloss drops a few units.
Milesi TDS only; not listed by Technocolor for LGA84 — check with the supplier before use.
- LZC1026Thinner% by weight: 10–30 (typ. 20) %official% by volume: 10–30 (typ. 20) %official
Spraying (conventional, HVLP, airmix, airless): 20–30 % per TDS. 20 % standard; 25–30 % for the first coat on open-pored timber (oak, ash) or in a cool shop.
LZC1026 is Milesi's universal PU/NC thinner, MEDIUM evaporation, intended for 18–22 °C (Milesi LZC TDS). Above ~25 °C or on big flat panels expect dry edges; Milesi prefers LZC941 in hot weather and Technocolor sells slow PU thinners LZC70/LZC8643, but only LZC1026 is officially listed for LGA84 — test any substitute on an offcut.
- LZC1026Thinner% by weight: 0–10 %dealer
Curtain coating — 10 % max.
The official page gives a blanket 10–30 % without splitting by method.

Process and compatibility
- Substrate preparation
- Timber at 8–14 % MC (Milesi optimum), sanded P150–P180 (solid/veneer), dusted off. Over CLT stain let the stain dry fully and test on an offcut.recommended
- Cycles

- Sanding
- Between coats P320–P400 after 4 h (or no sanding within the 2–4 h window). Never sand or polish the final matt coat.recommended
- Don'ts
- don't change the hardener ratio (50 %, period)
- don't thin over 10 % on a curtain coater
- don't recoat after 4 h without sanding
- don't sand or polish the final matt coat
- not for exterior use — interior lacquer
- don't use the mix past its 2–3 h pot life
Storage
- Shelf life
- 12–18 months unopenedrecommended
- Storage temperature
- 0–35 °C (better 5–25 °C), closed, indoors, ventilated, out of direct sunrecommended
- Packaging

Safety: 2K polyurethane: isocyanates in the hardener, flammable solvents. Spray in a booth with extraction, carbon-filter respirator (A2P2 or better), nitrile gloves and goggles. Clean the gun immediately.
