White thixotropic one-pack waterborne enamel from the Milesi Hydrocrom line for wood that lives outdoors: windows, doors, cladding, fences, garden furniture. Holds on verticals without sagging, stays elastic, very good weather and UV resistance. Spray or brush over the white Hydrocrom impregnating primer; the certified system is two coats.

  • Windows, doors and shutters
  • Exterior cladding, boarding, trims
  • Fences, gazebos, pergolas
  • Garden furniture and outdoor joinery
  • Tinted top coat (via HMT pastes)

No more than 15 % HMT paste (Milesi's stated maximum). Gloss depends on how much paste is added — do a test panel. Technocolor CH pastes are not stated for this product.

Thixotropic: keep a wet edge, 50–75 % overlap. On flat horizontals it can orange-peel — drop pressure a touch, come a bit closer, cross-coat.

Synthetic brush for waterborne; don't thin; don't overwork — the thixotropic enamel levels on its own.

Process and compatibility

Substrate preparation
Before impregnating, clean the wood of dust and dirt with Scotch-Brite. Sand with light pressure. Oak, chestnut and iroko contain extractives that retard drying and cause staining — use a suitable isolating primer. Exterior joinery moisture content 12–15 % (derived).dealer

Sanding
Impregnation — no sanding or a very light Scotch-Brite; between HZT12 coats — P320–P400, light pressure; no steel wool (it leaves rust spots under waterborne).recommended
Temperature and humidity
Don't apply below +10 °C or in high humidity.dealer
Don'ts
  • Don't thin with solvents — water only
  • Don't apply below +10 °C or in high humidity
  • Never sand with steel wool
  • Don't exceed 15 % HMT paste
  • Don't go over oak/chestnut/iroko without an isolating primer
  • Don't let it freeze

Safety: Waterborne, non-flammable as a liquid; ventilate, and when spraying wear a particulate respirator (P2/P3), gloves and goggles. Don't pour waste down the drain.
