ATL70 DM
ATL70 DM acrylic touch-up lacquer for restoration work, dead matt (5 gloss), 400 ml aerosol can
ATL70 DM is a ready-to-use acrylic touch-up lacquer in an aerosol can, dead-matt (5 gloss). Highly transparent, non-yellowing, fast drying. Comes with two actuators — one for halo-free blending sprays and one for normal first-coat spraying. Leaves no overspray halo and lays down an even film.
- Any wood species

- Nozzle
- n/a — use the supplied actuators: the halo-free (blending) actuator for spot repairs and fades, the standard one for whole small panelsrecommended

- Spray viscosity
- as suppliedrecommended
- Sanding between coats
- Generally not needed; if dust nibs, denib lightly with P800–P1000 / grey scotch-brite after 3–4 h full dry, then one more mist coat. Never sand or rub the final matt coat — it will polish shiny spots.recommended
- Technique
- For a spot repair use short passes, triggering on and off outside the area; feather the blend edge with the halo-free actuator. Hold the can upright and parallel to the surface.recommended
Shake the can well before use. Don't spray onto cold or hot surfaces. Spray from 15–25 cm. When finished, turn the can upside down and spray until clear gas comes out to clean the actuator. dealer
Process and compatibility
- Substrate preparation
- Clean, dry, degreased surface; defect already repaired (wax filler / putty / marker retouch), blend zone lightly scuffed with P400–P600 or grey scotch-brite.recommended
- Don'ts
- Don't spray onto cold or hot surfaces
- Don't lay it on heavy — a dead-matt lacquer goes milky and patchy
- Don't sand or polish the final matt coat
